ABOUT THE SHIP
One of the smaller ships, and considered a "pet project" by her designers and Starfleet's top brass, the USS Galileo is a Miranda-Class Starship with a maximum crew capacity of 280. The Galileo is a science vessel; she was built for the study of science.
The Galileo is a top-of-the-line science vessel; she requires the best of the best in regard to medical, sciences, and engineering. They are trying to build a team that will work well together for however long their research keeps them in place on the Galileo.
Now, the Galileo crew will enter their newly completed ship, and begin their mission; simply-- to boldly go wherever their scientific research takes them.
