Basic Appearance: Standing at 5'10" with slightly grown out hair but not that much that's a brown color that go well with his blue eyes. Normally a nice plaid t shirt covering his semi fit body and jeans covering the lower torso when not at work and the lab coat and work clothes at work. But now with the apocalypse and his lack of getting more clothes for himself and focused on his kids...he has been recently been stuck with old t shirts and yes sometimes sweatpants but he still uses the jeans most of the time.

Personality and Past


Personality: Matthias is a nice guy all the way and open to helping people when needed and is not afraid to lend a hand. He is optimistic most of the time and tries to stay positive but will close his mouth when it’s a clearly obvious it’s time for him to shut up. He is observant of people and likes listening to the little details in things before speaking of his opinion yet he is considerate of other peoples differences and need for a argument but would most likely try to stop it as he is all about helping others and thinks that there is really no need for it. He has a fatherly way around him being stern and serious but comforting when need to his kids. He just wants them safe but sense the apocalypse he had been on the rocks about if he is babying his daughter too much.

History: At age ten his family came to America and he didn't exactly like it. And by that he wanted to go back to Paris badly as he slightly knew English but that was the most bothersome as he had to learn the English Language. Which to Matt was stupid and he would say that others should just learn French. He did learn English but still liked slipping words in the other language. At 16 he was a relatively good and had average grades but a opinion way about things that bothered him which were on fairness in certain things. He did how ever have a life out of debates and puzzling over the why people are here and did have some short relationships and a drunk night with a girl that he couldn't ever remember her name. When he was done and through with high school he went to college with the hopes of becoming a Physician Assistant after he had dabbled with the idea of being physician. He then had met Eliza sometime after and they made good friends at first and after a few months it turned into a relationship. Then she said she was pregnant and Matt took it slightly well he wasn't really wanting to have kids until he had the whole full career establish but he turned to Mr. Daddy when he saw his son. The relationship stayed well when his son was one and he had achieved getting his masters as well. The rest seemed to go way quickly as he had gotten a job at what he had set to be and he did propose to Eliza which she accepted and they had the wedding three months later. Life was pretty nice with its slight ups and downs but it was ok but at 25 a rather unusual surprise was left at there door. A nine year old named Rachel Onyx was the outcome of his drunk night at sixteen with the girl he never could remembers name. He had a blood test done and did learn she was his and that the girls mother had died and had no other relatives so after his wife adapting to it and his own adapting to it the girl became part of the family. Later his wife's death really sent him into a deep grief and how much he had wished he could of been the one to die as he thought she was better hearted person. He never seemed to get over Eliza's death and strayed away from dating people and focused on being a good dad and had a new look on life and tried to treat his kids as if were his last.
